HELL YES! SNOW DAY!
Oh man... this is strange, because my school wouldn't close even if it was the Apocalypse... but they did today! Heck yes!
So I'm just lounging at home... yesness. We've gotten about 6+ inches of snow, and its near-blizzard conditions. Its apparently supposed continue until tomorrow night, and we're supposed to get up 14-20 inches of snow! Holy Cow! So maybe I won't have to go to the speech meet tomorrow! =D hehe.. It would be nice to get to sleep in again!
Well, I'm going to be "productive" and go watch a movie! ;)

First off- speech. Had a meet in Sibley East today, I got 3rd Place! :D Alex got first, yay! I was really happy with 3rd.. I went into the final round ranked 3rd place, and thats what I got in the end so I'm actually quite happy about that.

Sowwy... you know why.
So quite a bit has happened in the past... month or so. Well, the one-act play I was in went really well. Everyone loved it. The actual one-act was awesome too, they took 1st place at sub-sections out of 6 teams. Sadly, they took 4th at sections... not cool.
Speech has started! Yay! I am again in Informative this year. My topic is titled "New Power Sources and Conserving Current Ones." I talk about solar energy, hydrogen powered cars, and how to save water and electricity at home. I relate these things to how they help the enviorment and the economy and stuff. I know, sounds boring. Everyone says so. My visuals are pretty cool too :P I think it should be a good year. Me and Alex Burum are the only 2 in Info. (He was in Oratory last year). So far, we have had 2 meets. The Belle Plaine meet 2 weeks ago, I took 2nd and Alex got 1st. There was only 6 people in our category, haha. It was a small meet, no final rounds. I called up our friend Mike Steiner (he was in info. with me last year, he graduated) and left him a looong message on his cell phone.. haha that was fun. So anyways, then a week ago at the Mankato-Loyola meet, I did not make finals at this meet... but its ok. There was apparently a 4 way tie to make the 7th spot in finals, so I still got a blue ribbon. My second judge hated me, so I know that plays a huge part in me not making it. Alex got first though, so that was good. Steiner came to the meet to watch Alex and (he assumed) me in finals. It was cool to see him, I hadn't seen him since the fall play in November. And this weekend, we didn't have a meet.. which was pretty nice, but that means that it will suck more this Saturday when I have to wake up early.
This past Saturday night, we had a suprise birthday party for my friend Matt. It was so fun, he didn't expect it at all! It was his golden birthday on the 16th. Afterwards, about 6 of us went to a movie (including Matt). Then the other 2 girls that were with us had to go home, but me and the 3 guys went to Ruttles and each had a malt... so fun. Then he had an actual planned birthday party at his house the next night, about 8 of us were there. We played this like war game, Risk. It was fun! Then we watched Without a Paddle... good movie. And THEN we all had a pillow fight!! Hahaha that was fun... and then we played a few rounds of Twister... excellent. I have some pics from both parties, will post them soon. Yay. So that was my super weekend, haha.
Um... lets see... otherwise.. not much else. Got all A's first semester. Special me. And SOMEHOW I got perfect attendence... hahahaha. One out of the 11 that did... lol. My schedule this semester sucks.. I hate it.. but oh well. I better get used to that. Next year's schedule isn't looking to good either.

Yeah, I've been lazy with posting on here. I'm just gonna try to do it at least twice a month or something... I think that will be my New Year's resolution, haha.
Well, Christmas went really good. I got a bunch of cool stuff. I got some DVDs (What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Don Juan DeMarco, Benny and Joon, Nightmare on Elm Street, Elf, and The History of Rock'n'Roll.. on 5 DVDs), the Donna's new cd, $20 for Best Buy, socks, new shoes (link for shoes at the bottom of this entry =) ), money, movie passes for the local theater, golf stuff, and... my biggest present... an iPod mini!!!!!! Its sooo cool!!! Its a blue one. I have 158 songs on it so far, but have many more cds to put on it. (You can have 1,000 songs on an iPod mini) So that would be my favorite present! I got a few other little things that I can't think of, but they aren't important. Haha. Well, with my money and Best Buy gift certificate I went and got some new CDs: "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." -Gwen Stefani (really liking it!), "American Idiot" -Green Day (FINALLY I got it... also very good), and The Best of Kiss, volume 1. Good stuff right there. So all and all, my Christmas went well. My brothers came down and stuff... watched Napoleon Dynamite and Dodgeball at my cousins' house. =D Napoleon Dynamite has to be one of the funniest movies ever!
Any who, for New Years I went to a friend's house, there was 5 of us altogether. It was really fun. Then at midnight I called up a bunch of friends and wished them Happy New Year! That was fun. =) I'm making that a tradition.
Well, now I'm back in school. No fun. I gave my health presentation yesterday, I think it went alright. Have my final exam for band next week, where I play by myself for my band teacher. Its really odd to just be back in the swing of things after that two week break! I miss sleeping in. Oh well, I'm surviving. I'll try to make entrys more often as I promised!!

Well, I didn't get into One-Act, but no worries, I sort of knew I wouldn't get in. Two senior girls got two of the three parts, and the third part was given to this freshman Anna, because she is like really good friends with the two senior girls, and the director was going more for cast chemistry over like acting skills, which I guess I understand. I'm also friends with the two senior girls, but they are like obsessed with Anna so its alright. Plus, my friend Jenny, also a senior, is going to be directing another One-Act Play just for people who didn't get into the real One-Act, so I'm going to be in that. Practice starts tomorrow. It should be fun... except that there is going to be a bunch of annoying freshman in it and I'll be one of the two or three oldest in it... and I don't really get along with those other two or three people in my grade. Oh well, I at least want to be in one play this year, haha.
Hmm... what else... finally finished my 10 page minimum research paper for English, thank god! It ended up being 12 pages, because I figured out that like 3 or 4 of my pages were in 10 font instead of 12 for some reason. Any who...
Christmas break after this week is over... I'm so happy. I hate school so much right now... my English and health classes are just stupid. Speaking of which, I NEED TO GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!! I need to get presents for most of my family and friends. I'm procrastinating as usual when it comes to buying Christmas presents... heh.

Ahh, I've been abusing my journal again... my bad!
Well, so lets see here... did the play a couple weeks ago, that went really well. It was a hit.
Thanksgiving was pretty super! My brothers Kyle and Andy(and Andy's long-time girlfriend, Nikki, came down as well). I spent Thanksgiving at my dads, and my step sister Nicole and her new husband Mike came down, and my step brother Max came over. Then my Grandma, uncle Brian(cheap bastard... everyone hates him), and Grandma Jo from my step mom's side came over. It was a good time. AND my brother Kyle brought me a little present... a Green Day Local Crew shirt that he got when he worked the concert a few weeks ago!! How awesome was that of him?? Its and extra large.. but oh well, still cool. BUT then he took my totally awesome Donkey Kong t-shirt, that jerk! Argh. Oh well... I guess I can do without... maybe. Anyways though, when Andy and Nikki left, they were like 20 minutes away and then their car broke down! So we had to get them towed and they ended up staying the night. (I was at my moms, they had left from there, and I stayed the night at my moms and they stayed at my moms) Nikki was supposed to work the next day, which kinda sucked. She called in and stuff was alright and everything. But so anyways, I had some quality time with my brothers and stuff and watched a movie. It was cool.
Well, I'll be trying out for the school One-Act play tomorrow... really hoping I can get a part. I think I have a good chance though, its a different person who does One-Act, and I'm the teacher and I are like best buds. So yup, thats all for now. Yay.

Ok, so, its been awhile again. I apologize... again. Not much is new, just play practice and school and what not.
BUT... the concert! Which was last Saturday... heh. I did not get to meet any of the bands... *tear*... but its all good. So first off, I found out last Thursday before the concert that Bethany couldn't fucking go. Holy shit I was pissed... she "forgot" and her family was going up to Duluth. So I asked Scott if he could go... he couldn't... then I asked Cullan to go, he couldn't... then I asked Cullan's sister, Alex, if she could go... and guess what? She could! Haha. So I was all happy... then I get a call from Cullan saying that now Alex can't go, but HE can. I'm like huh? You can? Well, as long as one of them could go. My mom was really pissed that Bethany couldn't go all of a sudden. This is the second time shes done this. So what all ended up happening was it was me, Cullan, my mom, and my mom's friend Gigi and we drove up in Gigi's car. We left around 2-ish and Gigi has a DVD player in her call, so me and Cullan watched half of 'Blow' on the way up(the movie was a late, late, LATE b-day present from Cullan, haha) so that was cool. But so they drop us off at Roy Wilkins and we go in the lobby deal, and there was quite a few people there already. We talked and stuff and waited in line(we got there at like 4:20, doors were at 6). Finally we go in, and we're at the right side of the stage. Lola Ray was really good. Then Hazen Street was awesome too, but me and Cullan got separated during their set, which I kinda figured we'd get separated eventually. So then before Sum came on, they had this like mini movie on this big black screen, and like Stevo ends up killing Cone, and then he takes him to his house and grinds him up in a blender and cooks him, lmao. It was actually really funny! Then Deryck and Dave come and Derycks like 'Whats for dinner?' and Stevo turns around and is holding a bloody chansaw with an apron on that has blood all over it and hes like 'YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' then the cutain goes away and out comes Stevo with the same Bloody apron and the chainsaw, it was awesome!! They did sooo awesome. During their set a ton of people had to get out, and then they ended up pulling this fucking crazy girl out who was in front of me... I don't know, she was just psycho. So then there was one person between me and the barricade, which was awesome!! So then it was GC... who rocked, as always. I held up my 'PAUL For PREZ In 2008' sign and he saw it and smiled... awwww! I was glad he saw it. Then Billy came over to our side a few times and one time he looks at me and kind of mouthed like 'Do I sound OK?' and he made an OK sign, and I just like scream 'YEAHHHH' and give him and OK sign and he nodded and gave me another OK sign, it was cool. But yeah, the concert was awesome, but way too short. GC and Sum only played like an hour... TOO SHORT!! haha. So I didn't meet anyone... oh well... I will eventually. But I found Cullan right away and we met up with my mom and Gigi and drove home and watched the end of 'Blow'. All in all, it was an awesome night.
Wow that was long... props if you read it. What else... went to Mankato East's play 'Father of the Bride' twice this weekend... haha... Saturday I went with my mom, then I went Sunday with Bethany, Ted, and Jon. It was good... and by the way, our play is sucking ass right now, and the first performance is THURSDAY! Ah.... should be interesting. Well, time for bed. Peace.

So bowling last night... I get there. Its me and Mitch. Every single lane is FULL. Bobby finally gets there... then Bethany, Kelsey, Ashley, and Ellen come. Turns out that there was bowling league that night, and so 10 of the 12 lanes were taken by them, and the 2 open lanes were occupied... so we couldn't bowl. We're all like 'Dammit Bobby, you said you were gonna reserve lanes!' Haha, we were joking around, but still, it kind of sucked, I was looking forward to it. BUT, since Ashley and Bethany both drive and have cars, we went to Dairy Queen and got some ice cream. Then we went to Total Entertainment, thinking we'd rent a movie, but we couldn't decide on one so we went to Bobby's and watched the World Series. So, it was an OK night... I still would've rather have gone bowling, but what can ya do. We might go bowling next Saturday.
Today was pretty cool. Went to church, came home. My mom and I had another play to go to at MSU, since we got season tickets for all the shows. It was called "Marvin's Room." It was really pretty good, it was about this woman who is taking care of her aunt and dad(Marvin) and they are really old and stuff, then all of a sudden she gets leukemia. The only way to get rid of it is to get a bone marrow transplant. So her sister(whom she hasn't talked to for years) and her 2 sons come down to get tested to see if they match for the transplant. It was very funny and dramatic, but dramatic in a good way! So yeah, it was really good.
(I forgot to mention that I went to the play "The Wizard of Oz" a week(or 2?) ago at MSU, it was really good too.)
So, came home after running some errands, then we went to my cousin's to have supper. They got 2 new kitties named Larry and Carrie, they're so cute! But now I'm watching the World Series, and looks like the Sox are gonna win again (hell yes!), so I'm gonna head out.

Well, I had a pretty good night. My mom got home from wherever she was with her friends, and we decided we'd go to Mankato. We went to the mall, she had to get a haircut. So while she was getting a haircut, I headed over to Target. I was gonna buy a CD or two, but I can like never bring myself to spend money sometimes, lol. BUT, I did find the DVD Special Edition new release of 'Ed Wood'! I had to get it! I convinced my mom to get it, I said I'd work it off and stuff. But so yay! I'd never even seen 'Ed Wood' before, so I was super happy to get it. But yeah, then we went to Tractor Supply Company or whatever to get some pellets to start our corn/pellet burner. Then I got to drive home, whoo! And it was like dark too, I was suprised that she let me. Then I drove home on the highway for the first time! Ah! That REALLY suprised me that she let me take the highway, and at night! But yeah, so that was super. Then I was talking to Scott for awhile on MSN. Then I watched 'Ed Wood!' Oh my god, that is like the greatest movie EVER!!! Soooo great!! I loved it! I have yet to watch the bonus footage, but I think I will go do that now! So yeah, bowling party tonight, should be a blast!
Oh my god... my mom just got home from Mankato (she went with her friend again today) and she got me a freaking little BOWLING trophy!!! Oh my god... shes like 'Yeah, we'll have to put the date you got your high score on it!' I was like wtf??? Hahaha, gotta love the mom!

Oh my gosh, its been awhile since I've wrote yet again. SORRY!! :( I feel bad. But I guess theres not a whole lot thats new. MEA this week, no school today or yesterday! Yay! Oh.. got the tickets for the GC/Sum41 concert yesterday, how exciting! 15 days! Can't wait!
Umm... what else... oh! I talked to my French pen pal, Kevin, on MSN messenger yesterday and today which was really cool, he said their class just got our letters yesterday, and I had put my email on there, so he added me. We sent pictures to each other and talked about quite a few things. We agreed that we would talk in English, which is kind of nice. He knows English a lot better than I know French. Hes into these French metal bands, and he does like GC and Sum41, which is good! And he said he even liked some Elvis songs, haha. And I forgot, I also talked to my buddy Mike last night, haven't talked to him since August, so that was great to catch up with him. But yeah, thats been the highlight of my day.
Wednesday nigth I went to 'Friday Night Lights' with Bethany, Cullan, and Nate, and then Alex Burum was working and watched it with us. It was so funny, being friends with Alex is awesome, he'll let you go to an R movie even if you're underage and he'll let you take outside food and stuff in. So he let Nate bring a carton of Yo-J into the theater, lmao. We all got cups and shared, it was so great! There was this other group of like 10 freshman who didn't do anything during the movie, and this college couple in the back. We were in the middle. We were talking and laughing and stuff, it was a good time.
Yesterday I hung out with Bethany all day, she just got her license so now she can drive me around, lol. We went to River Rock for awhile, had some drinks, then went back to her house and hung out. We ran some errands for her mom, haha. Then I stayed for supper and hung out some more, then we drove around and went and got ice cream at McDonalds. It was a fun day.
Tomorrow Bobby is having a bowling party at Bowlero Lanes, which should be fun! And we had bowling in gym this week and we went to Bowlero and I bowled the higest game of my life, as well as the highest score in our class AND the other classes that went bowling! A 173! My previous high score was 154, so I'm super happy with the improvement. No one even came close to my score in my class. Marc got like a 137. My gym teacher got me a pop for getting the highest score, she couldn't believe it, since Marc's was the previous highest score in the class. Like the entire 10th and 9th grade know about my high score, Mrs. Sylvester told like everyone, haha. But yeah, excited for bowling. Should be fun.

Today was a better day... parents let me drive around a few places, went out to eat. Then when I get home to my mom's, something very cool happened. OK, so GC's new cd came out yesterday, and I knew I wouldn't get it until this weekend most likely. So my mom and I are watching the Twins vs. Yankees game, and low and behold a commercial about their new cd comes on. She said something like 'Oh, there new cd came out, huh? Do you have it?' I just said 'No, I was planning on getting it this weekend.' She says 'Oh... well, I was at the mall today, and I got it for you.' I was like holy shit!!! I couldn't believe it, I just remember thinking before this happened like 'Shucks... I'll have to wait until the weekend.' That was soo cool of her to get it for me! So she says 'Hold on, let me get it.' She comes back in the room and hands me... a John Denver cd! I'm like 'WHAT??? You were only joking????' She tortures me for another 5 minutes and is like 'OK... I actually got it for you.' I'm like 'Well, give it to me!!' She FINALLY gives me the cd, then snatches it out of my hands again!!! What is the deal?? She gave it back to me then, after I begged her forever. Then again she takes it from me like 2 or 3 more times, I'm thinking alright... this is getting old. Then FINALLY finally finally... she gives it to me and doesn't take it back again. Yay! I was so excited. I never expected her to get it for me, yay mom. Its the Life version, which is the one I wanted so thats even better. Well, thats my special little story of the day. :P
Come on Twins, win this game!!!!! End it already!!!!

Today we had to put my cat, Boots, to sleep. He was taken to the vet, and we discovered that he had a tumor in the back of his throat. This was the reason why for the past 2 weeks he hasn't been eating much and has lost so much weight. It was hard for him to breathe, and he couldn't eat really because of it. They couldn't do surgery... so... yeah. I'm going to miss him so much. I've been crying all night. I had him since Kindergarten, I grew up with him. My step sister is burying him in her backyard with her other cats... I'm going to go visit him sometime soon.
Rodney Dangerfield died today too... what a day.
I'm going to Job's(this sophmore prom type thingy... its in January) with Scott, I asked him today. Should be fun.

Well, sorry its been so long since I've written. I've been busy. Not a whole lot has been going on; just like soccer and play practice. We've had a few soccer games. Won some, lost some. School is going pretty good, guess I can't really complain. But I have some super news!! My mom got tickets for me to go see Good Charlotte and Sum41 November 6th!! YAY! I'm soooo excited. Its going to be awesome. My mom is gonna take me and Bethany(at least I think shes going with me) up and drop us off while she goes out to eat with her friend or whatever. I can't wait! I'm really hoping she'll let us stay there later though, because I reeeeally want to try to meet them! My life would be like complete if I did, haha. But yes... what else is new... going to go see 'The Wizard of Oz' this weekend at MSU, that should be fun. Its also Homecoming this week, what fun. My prediction is that we will once again lose the football game. Well, thats about all I know. If something comes up I'll let you know.

So we went to the play today. It was excellent! When we first got there, we got to go on a backstage tour of the Guthrie, which was so awesome. It was so cool to see how everything works backstage at a major theater was really interesting. Then we went to eat at McDonalds, then came back for the matinee. It was a really good play, truly and American classic as they say. But it kind of sucked in a way, because I had to sit and suck on cough drops during the performance so I didn't cough, and now my throats even worse and I wouldn't be suprised if I completely lost my voice tomorrow. Oh well, I'm just glad I got auditions over with yesterday!
Well, not much else... just that they post the parts tomorrow morning at school. I try not to think about it, it just makes me more paranoid that I won't see my name listed next to the character.
Oh! And I just remembered... this made me feel good... the other day in gym, we got our Body Mass Index (BMI) tested. It shows you like how much fat your body is made of. Girls should shoot for %23 body fat... last spring when we did this I was at %28.. not cool. I thought well, maybe I'd be around %25-%26 since I've been in soccer. But holy cow, I was at %22.4 body fat!! Yay!! It said that I should gain 1.21 lbs. to get to %23, haha! I know this is dumb, but it feels good to be told you have to gain weight, lol. So maybe I won't get a part... but I'm healthy... lmao. I don't know, I just wasn't expecting that. Well, anyways... wish me luck once again for getting a part!

So, I just got back from auditions... I have no idea how they went. I auditioned with Jon, so that was cool. I have a really bad cold and my throat hurts, and I'm really paranoid that that affected how my audition went, like that my voice was weird. I don't know... I can only hope for the best. But I'm still paranoid. Thursday is so far away...
Speaking of plays, I'm going to one tomorrow at the Guthrie Theater for English class, Death of a Saleman. I hear its a weird play, so we'll see how it goes.
Also, some of you may not know my current addiction to Elvis Presley... after seeing Shawn Klush, the best of the best Elivs impersonators at 'Legends in Concert' , I just became so intrigued with his music. I've gotten a number one hits cd, I've been listening to it for the past 2 weeks or so. Love it. PS- Go see Shawn in Branson. And go to his website- http://www.shawnklush.net

Wow, its been soo soo long since I last wrote in here... I apologize.
Well, about the second week in August I went on vacation to Branson, Missouri with my mom. We went to some shows: Legends in Concert, Kirby Van Burch, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Dixie Stampede, and this 'Hotrods and Haridos' show at Silver Dollar City. I had a great time! I can't wait to go back there.
When we got back, we finally brought our computer in to get fixed. It was gone for like 3 weeks, which kinda sucked. But its better than it was. But so then soccer practice started, and I was busy with that and now school has started! AHHH! I can't say I'm too thrilled. But soccer is going pretty good, our team is now 2-2-1, which I think is pretty awesome. Well, not much else I can think of thats going on right now. Trying out for the school play tomorrow I guess... its called 'Murder's in the Heir.' Wish me luck!

OK, before I get to shopping today... my weekend.
So Thursday, my birthday, I ended up going to my dad's around 3 o'clock. Got some money from my dad and step mom and some from my grandma. I went out to eat my dad and step mom at Charley's. I had some Alaskan Crab Legs... they were pretty good. Then we went to the mall for a bit, looked around, then went to a movie- I, Robot. Which was actually really good. Then I went home... and who knew it my aunt shows up at my moms at like 10 o'clock for whatever reason... she forgot it was my birthday. So did the rest of my family. But so we went over for cake. Yeah, then I finally went home and went to bed.
Next day I was at my grandma's all day... cleaning and getting ready for the auction and shit. Sucked. Then the auction was Saturday... it went OK I guess. Sixty some people there. But it was kind of depressing... watching everything go... and for cheap, after all the hard work we did. My screen name says it all: "Tractor=$4500. Fridge=$1. Watching all your memories being sold for 50 cents... crushing." But its over... and so no more moving shit out of barns or anything.
OK today... I went shopping with my birthday money! Yay! I used the Hot Topic gift card that Bobby and Jake got me and got this awesome Pirates of the Caribbean t-shirt, yeah! And I bought 3 cds at Target... all around $28, the price of my outfit I had on my birthday! Haha. I got the Spiderman 2 soundtrack, The Warped Tour '04 Compiltation CD, and The Casualties new cd, 'On the Frontline'. I'm listening to the Warped cd now... wish I coulda been there today. Sucks. Ah well, I'll go eventually. But so I'm gonna head out.. listen to some more of what I missed today. Peace.
